Glaurung Diorama

Greetings friends The Fall of Nargothrond, also known as the Sack of Nargothrond, was the overthrow and destruction of the city by that name, wrought by Glaurung and his hordes, in F.A. 495. Glaurung (Sindarin: "Gold-worm") was the first terrestrial, fire-breathing dragon in Middle-earth, bred by Morgoth in the depths of Angband. He was known as the Father of Dragons and so was possibly the progenitor of the dragons. My sculpt is a completely original concept since Tolkien only left us with descriptions of Glaurung. FDM printing and General printing instructions The dragon is split to 7 pieces and they all need supports with any orientation you see fit since it is you that you know your printers capabilitiies and have your own preference on type of supports. We did not pre-support the mountain for resin printing because its literally massive. It would simply be a waste of resin and also an unecessary risk for a fail since you can easily do FDM for it. If your printer bed is less than 250mm , i provide a split version of the mountain. This is a very big one guys, the dragon stands at around 230mm tall on the mountain and the base is 250mm.
