Nefertiti bust
Greetings friends This is an attempt of me to restore Nefertiti's bust, with absolute respect to the original. The Nefertiti Bust is a painted stucco-coated limestone bust of Nefertiti, the Great Royal Wife of Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten. It is on display in the Egyptian Museum of Berlin. It is one of the most-copied works of ancient Egypt. Nefertiti has become one of the most famous women of the ancient world and an icon of feminine beauty. I have restored all the details and damages on her hat, added the cobra that is missing entirely, resculpted her ears and eyes and sculpted the jewels . I added an extra base and carved her name in hieroglyphs. I hope you like her. This was one of the most rewarding and fun sculpts i have done for a while, even though i was stepping on someone elses footsteps.History is beautiful people.. Enjoy!
